In Egyptian mythology, Sia is a deity of the Heliopolitan Creation myth. She embodies the personification of mind and the deification of wisdom, and is said to have been born from a single drop of blood shed by Ra, the ancient Egyptian sun god. Another deity, Hu, also emerged from Ra’s blood, representing the deification of the creative word. Together, Sia and Hu symbolize the wisdom and insight of Ra.
Both deities accompany Ra on his solar journey to establish order in the universe and sustain everything that has been created. They are often depicted alongside the falcon-headed sun god in the solar barque as it sails across the sky — a mythical image suggesting that each sunrise is the renewal of creation.
It is worth noting that the word Sia does not exist in the modern Turkish language. However, in Ottoman Turkish, it conveys meanings such as wealth, affluence, and prosperity.
Additionally, in an ancient African tribal language, Sia is understood to mean Grace of God.
