I was born in Ankara in 1976, under the sign of Taurus. I spent my childhood in Balıkesir and Diyarbakır, and graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu High School in 1994.
Because of my father’s profession, I had the opportunity to live in different cities and experience diversity. This lifestyle taught me to accept differences as natural, to start over when needed, and—most importantly—to understand people. I believe research is one of the most beautiful yet also one of the most challenging professions in the world. Its greatest reward lies in understanding people and being able to convey those insights to others.
In 1994, I came to Istanbul with a suitcase in hand to begin my university education. Stepping off the train and breathing in the air of Istanbul, I knew this city would become both the longest place I’ve lived and the one I love most.
I graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Science, with a degree in International Relations. During my university years, I was involved in theater, worked in different roles, and enjoyed life to the fullest. It was also during these years that I met my life partner.
Between 1999 and 2010, I worked at Infratest Burke, NFO Infratest, Plus Remark, and Synovate. Although the company names changed, I was fortunate to work with the same team and the same manager for many years. During this period, I learned a great deal from Temel Aksoy—not only about work itself but also about professional ethics. I had the privilege of working with the best teams and building lifelong friendships.
During this period, I also managed and consulted on hundreds of projects across durable goods, fast-moving consumer goods, finance and automotive, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors.
In 2000, I married Ayberk Pak. In April 2009, with the birth of our son Tuna and our daughter Rüya, I embraced motherhood.
In November 2010, I joined Sia Insight—the team I had already been collaborating with for nearly ten years. Sia Insight is a hub of smart work built on trust, sincerity, and joy. Here, I continue to do the work I love with people I truly value.
I am also a member of the Turkish Researchers’ Association (TUAD) and the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
